Partnering in Opening Skies of South East Asia, with Special Reference to the Position of Indonesia
Last year, the ASEAN Open Skies Policy is effectively implemented. The Southeast Asian Aviation industry is considered to be ready for bigger business. In the first year of its implementation, what are challenges and opportunities for the region’s aviation stakeholders, particularly Indonesia?
Further, Indonesia, as a leading country in the region, is now preparing itself for the candidature for election as a member on the Council of ICAO. What Indonesia could get from the region’s partnership?
Purpose of this event:
Develop more awareness in preparing the region, particularly Indonesia, for anticipating and answering opportunities and challenges as a result of the Asean Open Skies Policy in every aspect, among others: airlines, airports, and safety issues.
Promote Indonesia’s plan for the candidature for election as a member on the Council of ICAO.
Participants:
More than 175 delegates from over 40 nations will attend the conference representing, academicians, regulators, airline operators, airport operators, and other stakeholders in the aviation industry.
